My Father was Joseph Patrick McPhillips of BailieBorough County Cavan He was born on 6/4/1922. He came to England I think it was just before the war. My Father has since died and he was the last of his brothers sisters and aunts and uncles. He had a Brother Danny who died when he was a young man. He had sisters Bridie (Bridget) Claire, and Lana. I know that we had cousins there was Gary Ball, Paul, Michael I do not know if they went under the name of Mcphillips because their mother was married a couple of times and Arlene or Arleen who had twins I think they were Victoria and Anthony. They all lived in Liverpool. His Mother's name was Ellen or Helen King she had Bothers Hugh, Tom, and Sisters May, Catherine and Anne who lived in Liverpool. I think there Mothers name was Bridget Braidy. Thank you to a few of you that have already given me help and advise. I would be glad of any help that you can give me. :-) Dympna.

I am so glad of any help that anyone can give me. here is some info My Mother Patricia Doran and Father Joseph Patrick McPhillips, date of Marriage was 19th July 1947. Dad was born 6th April,1922. and died 24th September 2003. He came from Bailieborough County Caven. He had a Sister Bridie (Bridget), Lana (Eileen), Claire and a Brother Danny who died as a young man. His Mother was Ellen King, I think his Father was Called Joseph.
His Mother who had a brother Hugh, & Thomas, she also had three sisters May, Catherine and Anne King. I think their Mother was called Bridget Brady. Thank you Dee.
