I wonder if anyone can help me get furter back with my family tree.
Sarah Winch was born in 1791 in egham surrey. she married James pike who was born in middlesex - Maybe in Shepperton green where they settled, but I know that their children were baptised in lots of places round about - shepperton, staines and Langley Marish - not sure why.
I have found a possible marriage for them in Hanover square in 1812 - although it seems unlikely it is tempting to think it could be them- but maybe someone has some records to show they married more locally to shepperton Green.

The marriage in Jan 1812 says the coupl eare "of this parish" and has witnesses James Gee and Ann Evans

yes - that put me off . But then again I suppose it may just mean they were living there at the time, not necessarily born there. atrouble is I guess James pike and sarah winch are actually quite common names.
