Yes that looks like the death cause I can't find him after 1861.

I just posted the census to show that it was not your Charles who married in 1871.

It looks like your Charles died in 1868. I posted the death reg above.

Thanks Christina and I did think about the neice but my Charles was born 1843 not 1851. Bedminster not Dundry
There are hundreds of the Cole men but I will keep it on file

This looks like the John Cole who married in 1871. As they have a niece named Dicker, then I would think he married Sarah Ann Dicker....

Have found a marriage of Charles Cole b1843 Bedminster Bristol in June 1871 but GR gives two names

Sarah Ann Cooksley b1839 dau of Benjamin and Mary Cooksley

Sarah Ann Dicker b1854 dau of Thomas and Ann Dicker

I can't find Charles on 1881 or 1891 etc

Have tried Fbmd and FamilySearch but can't find anything.

Can any one help me decipher which Sarah please
