I would lean towards Leed. As the S in Sudgen doesn't look like the start letter of Martha's Surname.

Unfortuantely I don't think any of these are correct, but thank you.

I can find the record on Ancestry.co.uk but I can't read it and who ever has transcribed it has done it incorrectly.

The transcription error says, Samuel Sugdon and Martha Sua

Which when you look at the record it's blatantly incorrect.

I am trying to find the maiden name of the wife of Samuel Sugden.
Her name was Martha born c1812.
They lived in Wike/Wyke near Low Moor Bradford.
They had 3 children Alice, Joseph and Emma.
I think she was buried in Wyke St Marys 1878.
