Can't seem to find George anywhere

If that was Mary's marriage in 1885 I can't find her under either of the ssurnames on there, Wheeler or Stanhope.

No, Mary Ann's father was William Hole as per the 1860 Census Mandy posted. The Ellen Hole listed in that is my hubby's direct relly, have her marriage cert to John Samuel Shipstone which confirms this.
