I am looking for a
Stephen Dalton in the 1841 census he was born in 1792 in MIllingsby Lincolnshire but later moved to Nottinghamshire he was married to Ann and in1851 is living in Chatham Street Newark with wife Ann born in MIningsby son Stephen born 1820 in Nottinghamshire and a grand daughter Ann Smith born 1847,but I can not
trace the family in 1841 can a better pair of eyes than mine see them.Thankyou very much for any assistance that can be given

Perhaps you put in too much info when searching................especially as 1841 does not record birthplaces

Thankyou for the information I am trying to trace William who is my ancestor and the only information I put in was name and year of birth =or- 5 years and nothing was showing so I don't know what I did wrong but thankyoufor advice
So elizabeth or Anne must have married somebody Smith and had a daughter Ann who was 4 in 1851
