This is my GT/Gt/ grandfather. Family stories suggeest he was Butler? Footman? to the Earl of Dudley c. 1860. He married Ann mason b. Baschurch, Salop in Dudley in march 1864. I am trying to find out if there is any truth in this family story ans info abt. his life prior to that. i believe he grew up in Tong, salop/Staffs.
