Just to confirm, Birth Certificate received today for John Wilson shows mother's maiden name as Louisa Edwards.

The Wilson / Edwards marriage looks very promising. I ordered a John Wilson birth cert this morning but am getting GRO to search as there are a few Wilsons in the vicinity - estimated date of despatch is mid October so now I have to wait - will confirm the mother maiden name when it arrives.
