Can I get some help/thought RE my Gx3 Grandmother? According to her children's birth certificates she was Sarah Ann King born in Buckinghamshire, England around 1851.

She married Samuel Boyle in Sydney, NSW, Australia on 21 Oct 1875. Had a child Joseph Emanuel Boyle born 31 Jan 1877 in Brisbane, Qld, Aust and then out of wedlock gave birth to my Gx2 Grandmother Rachel Amelia King on 17 Dec 1884 in Brisbane, Qld, Aust.

I can't find any records of her coming to Australia at all. I found a Sarah Ann King in the 1871 UK census father Benjamin King and brother William King, but no where close to being able to prove that link.

So, can anyone help me determine how/when she came to Australia?

Sarah Ann daughter of Benjamin is still with her parents in 1881 so it won't be her I'm afraid. There are several others born in Buckinghamshire around that time..

This one looks interesting with Father Joseph and mother Rachel. Need to trace her through the census records though.

There is a lot of KING activity on IGI for Maids Moreton, which is a very small village.

The dau of Joseph & Rachel, if indeed she was yours, was christened on 31st Oct 1852
if you do establish that she is yours, this is prob her parents marriage
