I am having difficulty finding Benjamin Garrett on the 1861 census. In 1871 he was 27 years old and living at Blakeridge Lane in Batley, Yorkshire with his wife Eliza Garrett aged 25 and his son Ned Garrett aged 1 year. In 1851 he was 7 years old and living in Batley with is father Edward Garrett aged 38 and Edward's daughter, probably Benjamin's sister, Sarah Garrett aged 9. Can anyone help please?

He is a boarder on that census and his occupatuion is a Coal Miner.

Have you got him on the 1881 as here he is a widower with his children and he has his brother in law living with them a Thomas Wal;ker and his wife Emma and thier children John 6 and Ann 3.
