No sign of her in 1851 Jean, that seems to be the worst census in terms of people missed off.

thanks for looking that up for me, I already have this info on Ancestry, I have her birth cert and both marriage certs. its just that I cant find where she was in 1851.

Keziah married again, in her banns she is Keziah Welch Francis widow. James Is CLACK not Clark. Both signed with a cross. Witnesses Sarah Clack and Alfred Stan?????. James's address NEw Sreet, her address not clear but Great Ge??? street his father Richard a gardener her hather Henry dead

Well, I've searched high and low for Keziah in 1851 with no joy.

Only suggestion I can make is that if Henry Francis provided the details for the census he didn't mention her because she wasn't his own daughter.

Thanks for your replies, keziah went on to marry her stepfather. I have her bith certificate, no father listed, also the marriage certificate for her and Henry, altho she states Henry as her father.

I do not have access to FMP, so that is a new thing to think about. I will look on Ancestry to try and find baptism of Keziah on there.

Just checked and it is on the list of forbidden marriages so definitely wasn't legal (although I'm not sure what, if any, action would have been taken).

Hello Jean, have you found Catherine in the 1851?

When did Catherine marry Henry Francis?

Keziah Welch was born in 1846 in the Union Workhouse in Brentford. she turns up aged 14 living with her mother Catherine and step father Henry Francis in Chiswick.

I have looked for ages over the past few years on Ancestry but cannot find her anywhere on the 1851 census.

her mother Catherine Welch was born in Ireland, not sure what part.

any help greatly appreciated.
