Find Ancestors

I've been trying to find the maternal grandparents of Bertram Driver, born 1890 Monmouth district. According to the 1891 and 1901 his parents were William H Driver and Elizabeth Ann ?.

Back to FreeBMD and there is an 1888 marriage also in Monmouth between a William Henry Driver and an Elizabeth Ann Whittington - so far so good.

There is a birth for an Elizabeth Ann registered 1868 in Chepstow along with that of a twin, Angela (Anglena in 1871). I have found their baptisms on the Forest of Dean site, parents John and Charlotte which fits with Angela on the 1871 however Elizabeth is not with them on that census, neither can I find a death or burial for her. She's also absent in 1881.

There is also this Elizabeth Ann in 1871 but I can't find a birth registration for her, unless it's the same Elizabeth and she's been 'adopted' by another family member.

I hadn't noticed that 'Minnie' on the 1881 was the same age as Angeline, if it is Elizabeth it must have been a pet name. I wonder where Elizabeth was in 1871.

I hadn't looked for a marriage for George and Meriam yet but I think there was a mother in law Yemm with them in one of the censuses so it must be the marriage.
