Hello Sandra and welcome to the community boards.
It may well be worthwhile to look at the cornwall-opc site and play around on there. there are a couple of variations of the spelling of Viane, but definitely worth searching.
Also, if you put the name Viane into the Search all trees box - under Search above - you will see that a couple of other people on this site have your family in their tree.

I see that Lizzie appears in the census records as "Lizzie" and yet she married under the name of Elizabeth.
Either way, i can't see an appropriate birth registered for a Lizzie or Elizabeth.

Have you already seen this Will?
It doesn't tell you who Roger's parents are, but as he signed the will, it may give some clue towards his family.

Good Morning. I have for almost 20 years, been trying to find the parents of Rogger Viane who married Elizabeth Hoskin in 1689.
I am also trying to find the burial place of my grandmother, lizzie Mellor, somewhere in Bristol, England.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
Sandra
