i am so sorry i have got a bit mixed up i wrote it down at the beginning wrong i wanted 1851 cencus of thomas lovett as i had the 1841 for him and when i replied to you i put 1851 at the top so sorry but it all turned out alright as you got 1851 cencus for me and i am very pleased with result

a couple of tips for searching ....................
1. it often helps to look for children rather than a parent.
2. Ages for adults over the age of 15 were supposed to be rounded down to the nearest 5 on the 1841 Census ............ it did not always happen, some enumerators did not do it. But always search on the 1841 for age +/- 5 years (or even +/- 10 years).
3. It is often better to use fewer knowns rather than more when searching. Thus search for county, but not a birth place ............... this may differe, or be absent on a different census
4. Use the wild card symbols * and ? if possible. ? searches for 1 missing character, while * searches for more than 1.
Thus ............... I search for Tho*s, because that is often how Thomas is written on censuses.
I searched for Lov*t ..... in case it appears as Lovit ............ our ancestors were not at all literate!!!!
