Help! I think I have been chasing the wrong tree. I am looking for the ancestors of Ernest John Thomas, he was born 1901 in Malvern, Worcestershire. He married Frances Brown in Birmingham in 1921. Ernest died in 1937 I think. Florence died in 1962 in Birmingham

The 1911 census shows William and Edith Francis to have only been married 4 years so she is not Ernest's mother - see 1901 posted for his mum

Brother-in-law told me his grandparents names and that Ernest was born in the Malvern area maybe Leigh Sinton but wasn't 100% sure. I did trace William as Ernies father and Edith as his step mother, his mother being Mary , so it does look as though I am on the right path afterall. Thanks to each of you. At some point Ernie moved to Birmingham but don't know when as his and Florences children were all Birmingham born. Thanks again.
