I have just started researching my family tree and have already come up against a wall. I'm trying to find out about my maternal grandfather but have very little information. All I know is that his name was James Dickie and he married my maternal grandmother, Rose Barton, in Lincoln in 1925. I have no idea of where he came from, age etc. |

Thank you safc! I didn't expect a reply so soon. I knew nothing more than the name, marriage date (and obviously who he married) but that was all so this information is really helpful. And I'm sure it's the right person as I know my great grandfather's name on my mother's side - Henry Barton. |
