Hi Jan,yes I have looked on the electorial registers.I know what you mean there were a lot of boarders at that time,some coming over from Ireland to find work in the mines etc.I will look into more later listings re census information see what I come up with.My grandmother Ellen and Charles lived at 7 Somerset Street,Parr St Helens later on in their lives,this is the address my mum used to take us to to visit my gran as children.Viv

Thanks Catherine for this information for Edna,Agnes,Charles,Leo,Edward and Elizabeth.I will check all your references on my tree.I still have work to do on the Duckworth side i.e Elizabeth married an Edward Smith,but haven't got the info re marriage year,children's birth registries,also Agnes marriage to Jack Ashton.This side though I will leave till a later date.The Moran side is the one I'm working on at the moment.Viv

Have you tried looking at the electoral register to see who else was living at the address? I am sure you know this has to be done in person, registers usually being at the nearest main library.
I sympathise with this one, pretty tricky!

On the marriage certificate it stated that Charles was residing at 16,Ashcroft Street, St Helens, Lancashire.On the 1900 census a family named Potter was residing in this house and I haven't any information as to the 1911census as yet.Viv

Yes I have this,It is my grandparents marriage registry numbers.Re childen,I know my mum was one of the children,Agnes,Elizabeth and Leonard,known as Leo I knew also,but have only found out recently about Edward and Charles,apparently both died within a year of birth.Would appreciate any other help on the Moran ancestry.Viv

I AM TRYING TO FIND RELATIONS ON THE MORAN SIDE OF MY TREE.ALL I HAVE IS CHARLES MORAN MARRIED ELLEN DUCKWORTH 1920.ON THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE HE IS AGED 25 SO THEREFORE HE WAS BORN IN 1895.HIS FATHER WAS NAMED ON THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE AS JAMES MORAN-DECEASED OCCUPATION COAL HEAVER.CHARLES OCCUPATION WAS A GLASS CUTTER.THEY HAD CHILDREN ELIZABETH,AGNES,EDNA,LEONARD,EDWARD AND CHARLES AS FAR AS I KNOW.VIV
