She was my great grandmother.
Her husband Thomas Oliver died in India where they all lived, when he died her and my grandmother were sent back to the UK penniless.
My grandmother always mentioned the workhouse and her being in a childrens home for a few years.
Any ideas where I could find that info?

Does anyone have any info about a Clace Phillips born in Hampdhire in 1887.
I believe her fathers name was Alexander, and that she had a sister Beatrice. I can fnd her in the 1891 Census aged 3 but nothing after that.
