There are 2 marriages in Salford for a Patrick J. Flynn.
How do you know so precisely when his mother died, if you don't know where?

Hello Sammy, is your dad's father named on his birth certificate, or is this from family knowledge?

If we WAS named on the cert then it would at least give an occupation to try to work from.

Found a Patrick J. Flynn. Lancashire, 4/4 1963. mother Flynn.

There is only one Patrick J. Flynn born 1963, MMN Flynn.

If you know he was born 15/11/1963 - how - do you have a certificate, this would tell you where he was born. If you know when his mother died the certificate would give you her age, if correct and known you could then search for a possible birth

Can anyone please help.......

Im trying to trace my fathers side....but i know very little abt that side

my fathers name is Patrick Joseph Flynn he was born15th November 1963 (i dont know where). His mother was Josephine Flynn i dont know her birth details but she died 28th August 2012 (again unsure where). His father name was Joseph Grimer but i dont have anything else on him. My mother met my father when she lived in the Salford, Manchester area.

Ido know that this side of my family are Irish Josephine was part Irish.
