Hi
I am wondering whether anyone lives near to or will be visiting this cemetery anytime soon, that wouldnt find doing a look up for me.
I believe many of my family are going to be buried here and would like a look up done and possible photo of headstone (as much as possible).
The family name i am looking for here is LUSCOMBE.

I know that Alfred P Luscombe is buried here as he is listed on deceasedonline.co.uk but have no further deatils about where?
Alfred was born and died in 1912 (died either still born or as newborn, believed to have survived birth but died shortly later)

Alfred's brother is also buried here, Thomas E Luscombe born 1904 died 1924 (boxing incident)

And Alfred and Thomas's father is buried here, Thomas G Luscombe born 1881 died 1925 (broken heart following first born - Thomas E death)

Thomas G Luscombe's brother is also buried here Philip W Luscombe born 1885 died 1922.

Finally Thomas and Philip's father is also buried here - Thomas S Luscombe born 1857 died 1885 (aged only 27 years old)

These are the 5 i know about and would like any further information and photos of.

It truely would be a great help.
Thanks
Ceri

As its a municipal cemetery it will probably be huge.

The local Council Parks & Cemeteries dept should be able to tell you where they are buried and give Row & Plot nos,.

They may charge though for the searches. Used to be done free but Councils have cottoned on to it being a money earner!

St Pancras and Islington Cemetery in East Finchley, North London while situated in the London Borough of Barnet is actually two cemeteries, owned by two other London Boroughs, Camden (formerly St Pancras) and Islington. The fence along the boundary which runs west to east between the two parts of the cemetery has been removed, although the line of it is still marked. Although Brookwood Cemetery in London is the country's biggest cemetery by area with over 2,000 acres, the St Pancras and Islington Cemetery in North London accommodates over three times the number interred at Brookwood and more than any other cemetery in the UK. Two conjoined cemeteries, St Pancras and Islington, form the third largest single cemetery in London after Brookwood Cemetery and City of London Cemetery and Crematorium and in burial numbers, the largest in the UK with around one million interments and cremations.[1] St Pancras and Islington Cemetery is designated Grade II on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England.[2] It is an operating cemetery with new burial plots available.
