Iam trying to find the parents of Daniel Whitchurch, born 13th Sep 1827 possibly in Bristol. He married Catharine (Brain) Lewton on the 20th Jan 1853 in the Old Bedminster Church, Bristol. I believe his parents may have been John and Elizabeth? i was also hoping for some insights on Catharine's parents. Catharine herself was born the 28th Jan 1828 and christened the 18th May 1828 in Gloucestershire. Her father was George Brain (believed to have been born around 1796), but later on the census' he changed his name to George Lewton. He did marry a Frances Lewton who I believe to be Catharine's mother. But others have thrown in possibilities for her mother, including a Frances Howse?
