If the 1911 census for Lillian is her and the possible daughter Emily Matilda is not with her perhaps she was given away by then or being looked after by a relative - have you checked Lillian's parents to see whether she is there ? Sometimes grandparents took on an illigitimate child as their own and list them as such on census - this has happened in my family and it can make it a bit confusing at times!

Also it possible the Emily Matilda Rozycki adopted the surname Hall after her mother married and married/died using that surname instead of Rozycki.

I'm looking for my great grandmother's death. Her name is Lilian Elizabeth Hall nee Rozycki b. 1879 Westminster. She called herself Lisa, Elizabeth and sometimes Lilian. She married 1916 to Edwin Hall and had at least three children, Lilian, 1916, George Richard 1919 and Charles eighteen months later, (never found his birth cert).

She suffered from Meloncholy and the Lilian, George and Charles were received into Ashford Receiving Home, Ashford Kent from 1922 onwards and remained there.

From then her whereabouts is unknown. Another odd thing about her is that she is careless with names on birth certs. Grandfather George Richard Hall is down as having Richard Edwin Hall as father, his sister Lilian has Edwin Hall as father. A child born before marriage is called Jack Alexander Rozycki/John Alexander Rozycki on birth or death certs.

And we believe she is the mother of a Emily Matilda Rozycki where the mother is listed as Elizabeth Margaret Mary Rozycki. This child disapears and we can find no death cert for her nor marriage.(1907).

Please help if you can. Many thanks and kind regards

Dominic
