Yes Kath, that is definitely his parents. His nephew always knew him as "Gordon" but I suspect he was Alfred Gordon. If so, that could well be his death certificate since he apparently moved away "down south" and was never heard of again. |

Looking at the original register of that 1983 death for birth year it says "about 1915" whereas all other entries have actual birth dates (as would be the case from the late 1960s). |
