His name George William Ryan,born 29 Aug 1901 in Chatham Kent.his fathers name George Herbert Ryan
The Surrey History Centre might help?
My father was in the Home Guard durring ww2,but i also know he served in the Machine Gun Corp around 1920? he also told me about being in INDIA when why I cannot recall.
