I've tried newspaper archives, hoping to find him being transported but there's nothing that I can see. |

I am searching for Henry Spencer borne about 1840. From his marriage certificate of 1872 at Coleraine, Victoria, Australia he was borne in London. His parents are named as Henry Spencer and Harriet Wheymans. Father and Son are both listed as Butchers. Research shows a Henry (Hy) Spencer arriving in Australia in 1862 via the "Great Britian". He was aged 21 at the time. Attempts to trace information on him have all failed so I am in hope that this may lead to some knowledge of his origins. |
