Military's not my strong point I'm afraid. You could edit your heading to mention updated request and include India Army Service. |

Ooops sorry.. lol... I was referring to my Grandfather George Mason (1903-1973). I applied for his service records... but, as I mentioned, there is a 12 year gap, whilst he is serving in India. |

So would that be Alfred Pallett born 1860? Or someone else altogether? |

whilst I have you Marie.... I obtained my grandfathers service records recently and it appears he was in India for 12 years. This time is not recorded in his records.... from what I can find out, he would have been classed as the Indian army for this period? I was wondering about his records for those 12 years in India... |

Hello Anthony, the quickest way to get in touch with Darren is to click on his name and send him a direct message, rather than chance him coming back on here. |

This link seems a bit more factual, says he founded it 1919 at the age of 18: |

Does anyone know anything more about Alfred Edward Pallett who founded Palitoy back in the early 1900's? Having Googled him, there appears to be contradictions in information... they say he 'founded Palitoy in 1909' but the only A E Pallett I can find was only 9 years of age in 1909...? |
