i know she was married to albert brown 15/03/1894 and died 15/11/1938 they had kids

Philip, could you just clarify as it reads like your giving two different death dates for her - April 1960 and November 1938 (is the latter actually her husband's?).
Did they all remain in Scotland? If so, you need to use Scotland's People http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/

Had a look on SP. Jessie gives her father's occupation as a Mechanic when she marries in Renfrew but when her parents in Bridgeton her father is a Weaver ( maybe warper) journeyman. So this looks like her parents in 1891.
