There are a couple of good researchers for Oz on here but.......

You need to give birth years for Fred*and Ann*

Is the born 1924 Bradford for Fred, Annie (or both)?

Standard records available are outgoing passenger lists up to 1960 and incoming Australia records no later than 1922 or 1930 (depending which part).

The Australia Birth Index available on Ancestry only goes up to 1922.

So, you do need a specialist ......

Are these them listed on the National Archives of Australia - actual dob of those likely to be living has been removed

SHARP Fred born 15 October 1915; Annie (nee Burrage) born 1924; Stephen born 1961; Graham born 1961; travelled per FAIRSKY departing Southampton on 17 February 1967 under the Assisted Passage Migration Scheme

So the twins were born in the UK

Lisa, by "old thread icon" do you mean on the front page where there's a little folder to the left of the thread title? (When you hover your cursor over it it says "old post").

If so, I think as soon as there have been replies it stops being a "new post"

But I'm sure someone will have a full explanation ......

No - its under the Assisted Imigration and Naturalisation records on http://www.naa.gov.au

What you see is what you get. The access level has not been examined, but knowing the Australians, the file would probably remain closed until all those listed are deceased.

Found them in 1980:

Australian Electoral Rolls, 1903-1980
Name: Fred Sharp
Gender: Male
Electoral Year: 1980
State: New South Wales
District: Macquarie
Subdistrict: Lawson

They're living 24 Falcon Street. Fred's a plumber, Annie's home duties, Graham & Stephen are students.

(Don't have access to any later records)
