Find Ancestors

This couple were married in Wandsworth Dec 1908. My father was sent a letter from them dated February 1953 which was signed cousin Olive, however I cannot find any relatives in my family tree with those surnames.

Does anyone recognise this couple.

Thanks to all who replied.

There is no surname on the letter but I have an address book which belonged to my grandmother that has the name Mrs Berry and a telephone number which is the same as on the letter. Olive refers to her husband John, which is why I was looking for a John Berry who married an Olive. Obviously I made an incorrect assumption and am grateful for those who have pointed it out.

Can you confirm the area to which the telepone number applies?

Is there an address on the letter?

So was she just cousin Olive or Olive Edith ?

If simply Olive, then maybe this is her
Does Birmingham sound a posibility ?

The other thing to bear in mind is she may have signed herself "cousin" Olive but that doesn't necessarily mean they were first cousins.

I used to get Christmas cards from a "cousin" Exxx but she was in fact my mother's cousin.

The letter is just signed Cousin Olive.

The address is The Dell Cottage, Ruislip Common, Middx & the telephone number has a Ruislip exchange

Google Earth has a Dell Farm Road, Ruslip. All newer builds. No trace of any history there.
