Wandering if some kind person could have a little delve for me please ?

I was looking for 2 sisters and wandering if they got married ,,,Betsey Smith b abt 1834 / Eliza Smith. abt b 1836. both b Bilston.they are with thier family up to 1851 but went missing on 1861.

I came across this census ,,,,1861 ,,,,,and thought this could be them!

I also found a marriage that matched although they did not marry in Bilston Wolv but in Dudley!

but the trouble i am having is finding them on census after 1861?

I would agree with you but wanted to see them on other census to see if there were more info to proove that i was on the right track.

but the name Clossey is not coming up ? either misspelt or he,s gone back to Ireland with family?

I think you are right Flo as Betsy was a bonnet maker in 1851 also.

Strange they only come up on the 1861 census.

have tried soundex for the children but not coming up with any records after 1861

Yes thats what i thought as well,
when i saw the name!! well!! i just knew i would have a game finding them!

but when i came across the marriage with the same name i thought well it has to be the correct name.
but alas! nothing.

Brummiejan,, i did notice the name miss spelt thank you and she b westbrom, found all the others b Wolverhampton except Joseph Patrick ? cannot find his birth? for some reason.
