Find Ancestors

Hi
Does anyone have access to old maps of Liverpool only I am trying to find Jersey Street, shown on the 1901 Census as:
Ecc Parish - St Plycarp
Civil Parish - Everton
Ward - Netherfield

I have two lots of old maps but none of them show Jersey Street - can anyone one help in locating this street.

Have you tried 1911 census - if you can find the street you could look at the summary book and look for adjoining streets?

If such maps are on line, you should be able to find them by googling

If you have Ancestry........go to the 1901 image....then look in the Tool bar above, and click on the district name.

You will then be able to view the ED description, by clicking on the relevant district number in the dropdown

Have found 1911 census.....Jersey Street Everton, West Derby, Lancashire.........Do you have a number please?

Before Jersey Street...there is a Robsart Street.( it states Jersey Street off Robsart Street)

Could not find it by googling but I have done what you suggested and found the details that the enumerator has put down.
on my old OS map of of Liverpool (north) 1906 the road that crosses Rosbart St, Beatrice Street and Opie Street is called Sanderson Street and was wondering if this was it - but at least I know now the area concerned.

Regarding my last post
I have now found Jersey Street on the 1906 Map it is that small it is no wonder I could not find it - put it down to old age.
