I am having problems finding my husbands grandmother. I've found a record of her birth. Nelllie E Pountain (mothers maiden nameSpooner") born q.3 1916 in Selby, Yorkshire. She married Donald Latimer in 1937 in Selby. He seems to have then remarried in 1946. I then can't find any trace of her. Can anyone suggest where else I can search. Thank for your help. |

Didn't your husband's father ever say whether his father re-married? He'd have been around 7 years old at the time...... |

Maybe she reversed her names and died in 1945 |

Thank you for all of this - I'll have a word with my husband to see what else he know but it does seem likely that his grandmother died in 1945. Once again thank for all your help. |
