Reuben Fletcher b1914 married Myra Critchett b1912 in 1937. They had a son ( unsure of year of birth ) whose christian name i do not know. He passed away approx mid 2000's. Can anybody help please with a name and dob

Look for birth of a Fletcher, Mothers maiden name Critchett post marriage date in the area the couple married.

EDIT NOTE:

I have just taken a look myself but nothing is showing up with that combination in England or Wales. I have confirmed that Critchett was Myra's maiden name so if they did have a son then might he have been adopted rather than a natural child?

Thanks for the info. This son who died was living in Lincs , apparently he had no children , Lincs was where his mother died also.

In all probability then the son may have been the one to register his mothers death. If that was the case a copy of her death certificate would give you his name and maybe even his address at the time.

Also consider that Myra may have had a son born out of wedlock before she married Reuben Fletcher.

There ar a few Critchett/Chritchett births.........all born in Portsmouth Hampshire though.
