Alberts parents Henry and Matilda Bates nee Matilda Wood. Henry Bates was born c 1864.No information about Matilda.
The only information I have on Albert are the names of his children who were all born in Nuneaton Warwickshire.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Susan, have you found them on any census or searched for records on FreeBMD?
EDIT: Have googled and found that Swadlincote is in Derbyshire.
Would you please share the names and ages of those children to give us a start to try and find them.
