I'm trying to find out more information about my (would have been) great uncle who was killed in Burgess HIll in 1936 during a road accident. I'm trying to find out more information about what happened that day on 03/07/1936 but the coroner records were destroyed during the war and the local paper the 'Mid Sussex Times' has no records for those dates either. Can anyone help with any other potential information sources I could search? Many thanks in advance.

The death cert would be your best option,
