Can anyone help me please. I got information that relatives came to Australia in 1922 on the ship named Barrabool ( departed London ) 3rd May.. from Passengers List 1890-1960.
Now I have new information saying the ship was built in Belfast 1922 and didnt voyge to Australia until 1926.. How can I find out whats the truth?
Any advice? Many thanks Debra

On Ancestry there are people coming into the UK on the barrabool in 1922. It was owned by P & O

Ok just did.. Barrabool 1923-1936
So how can it be that my relative is listed on the passengers list in 1922 on that ship? Do you think it could be just a year error on there part? should I just accept it ?or follow it up more?

There was more than one ship called Barrabool. If you look at google images, there's one in the 1800s.
