William Lister married Alice Arrand in 1915. They had a son born in 1916. William was killed in France in 1917. I believe he was in his early 20's. William and Alice lived in or around the Hemingbrough area in Yorkshire.
I am looking for Williams parents - and his date of birth. Can anyone help please.

Roy the history of Hemingbrough was very interesting. I lived at Chapelfields with my grandma for a while as a child. Babthorpe was at that time, farmland, with 3 farms. My uncle lived on one of those farms, and I spent many happy holidays there. Brought back a few memories. Thankyou.
