Would the Student Nurse in question be old enough (21 years at that time) to have the vote in 1945-1947 ? if not then they would not appear on any electoral register

plus i think electoral registers where suspended ? in the war years and not sure when they where reinstated

Please can anyone help with any details about Student Nurses that worked at Cherry Tree Lane Hospital Stockport in 1945-1947 Would the Students have lived in accommodation at the Hospital, and if so would they appear on the electoral register at the Hospital. Thanks Pam
