Trying to find war records for my grandfather who was born in West Yorkshire in 1882 and served in thr KOYLI regiment also war records for my father who was born in 1915 in West Yorkshire and served in the Koyli in India and Burma, Thanks

If the records for him in WW1 survive (only about 30% do) they are available on Ancestry. If you need a lookup then you will need to give some names

Not sure if this is your Percy Cade, but there is this record onFMP of this name who served in the Army in 1900.

He gives his NOK as his Father Thomas Cade 96 , Hardy Street Dewsbury, the address tallies with the 1901 census.

Not much on his record as he joined in November 1900 and discharged by purchase in December 1900, nevertheless if it is him always nice to have info.
