Find Ancestors

I have an Edward Owen Lloyd b c1873 Denbigh, Denbighshire on my tree, with parents John Lloyd c1834 Meifod Denbighshire and Hannah b. c1839 Denbighshire.
I have Edward visiting relatives - but after that, he disappears in the world of the Lloyds!

Would really appreciate any help with this, please?

Thanks for the info - but the Edward Lloyd I have wasn't blind as far as I have been told. Could this be another Edward Owen?

Hi Jayne, just my way of thinking - but if no-one knew what happened to him, how would they know if he was blind or not? (Or do you have some info on his later life?)

As for Edward Owen Lloyd, he (we were told) that he actually became a grandfather and was born in 1873

Where have you obtained the information on Edward Owen Lloyd?

On both the 1881 census and 1891 an Edward Owen Lloyd is described as the nephew of John and Hannah Lloyd and not son.

He would therefore be the son of John Lloyd's brother unless John's sister married a Lloyd.
Not unknown of course in Wales.

I really think you need some more information. He may have only been registered as Edward and given the second name Owen at his christening.

Where does he appear in your tree? Sometimes looking at other relatives helps to sort out families especially when it comes to Lloyds,Davies,Evans and Jones in Wales.
