I do have the 1910 and 1911 norway census showing Petra but then I have been unable to find her marriage or my mothers birth.

I am certain she always lived on Senja as I wrote to her in the 50's an60's as a child
to Hamn i Senja and the letters were translated for her by the local school teacher

HI Stella,

Have you got Petra's year of birth correctly written because you say she is your grandmother born 1981 and that makes her thirty-one? Did you mean 1891?

does anyone have any of the following in their family tree.

Petra Agina Gundersen (Gundersdatter) born 1891 on Senja.
mother Elen Lavine Johansdatter

Petra was my grandmother. I have discovered her story but have been unable to trace my grandfather.

My mother was Elisif Kristine Isaksen sometimes known as Dolly
