I only have a limited amount of imformation regarding Edward,this came from his NZ death certificate.I have no idea where he or his family lived in Gloucestershire prior to his departure to New Zealand.I have in my search there are many thousands of Jackson families in the UK making it very hard to connect onto his family.

I have a problem in finding the family of Edward,his father was Edward Jackson and his mother was Elizabeth Hawkins.Edward arrived in Wellington New Zealand in 1857 on the ship Alma as an AB seaman
