William- do you think that we could be related? Your info regarding death of Alfred Davis in 1915 aged 81 could fit as I think he was born around 1833/4

According to his marriage record Alfreds fathers name was Thomas Davis. Not entirely sure of his mothers name although it could be Mary Ann ?

As you have deleted your thread with the most information on it, I do not have any ideas as to what his parents names might be. That is why I asked you to delete the other one.

In future, remember not to delete your first thread on any family, as this is usually the one that gets the most information.

If you can give a few more details or names to what was previously found, could this be added here.

We don't know each other, as far as I'm concerned it is just coincidence that we both happen to be looking for the same information. I don't seem to be able to do right here.

I know they are all over the place but it seems too much of a coincidence not to be connected. The parents of John Alfred have the same names as Alfred parents, could he have thought he had to give his parents names not his and Elizabeths names?

Have you not noticed what has been said before. You have a number of threads about the same family asking just about the same question, it is against genesreunited rules to have more than thread.

Just a bit more on Jax' death of Alfred, he was born in Wales parents unknown.

Wallaroo is in the State of Sth. Australia, not Victoria

For the last week the Sth. Australian research site has been unavailable to view records, they have said it should be available at the end of today. Here's hoping.

There is also a number of threads posted in the last few days by William regarding this family, any connection?

The death reference would fit with Elizabeth showing as married in 1871 when she is at the home of her mother, Patience HALLIDAY.
