Thank you so much Reggie! Apparently Henry Day married an unknown woman (Elizabeth) in 1886 and had Henry Jnr in 1887 and left her very early into the marriage so this makes perfect sense! |

If - and only if - this is the child's father's death, not surprising that I couldn't find a 'marriage' for his mother to Burnham |

It is quite possible that is him as according to census records Henry Snr remained in Bedfont/Staines for his entire life |
