If the name was on an Army roll of honour, the person in question was NOT in the RAF ...........and he died during the War

If his widow is alive, she can apply for his Records - she could obtain them without charge

Failing that, his surviving proven next of kin can apply, at a cost of £30.00

I just didn't know if the Kenneth Clarke I found on the army roll of honor from Berkshire was him and what info it would have for me to determine if it is the right person

WW2 service records are not yet in the public domain.

Also if he was in the RAF he would not appear on an army medals list.

Researching:
Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

Hi,
I was wondering if someone is kind enough to try and find out some info about my grandad Kenneth p Clarke as I don't have the package on genes to view this.

Heres some of the info I know and What's on the birth record on genes.

Born. Jan 1923 in nettlebed in Henley.
Mothers maiden name was higley.
He was in ww2 RAF and was posted to India. He didn't die during the war, his death was in July 2011.

I Did find a Kenneth Clarke on the army medal of honor who was from Berkshire ( I'm not sure if Henley would of come under Berkshire in those days as its Buckinghamshire now?!? )

If there is any info it would be much appreciate. Many thanks
