Looking for info on Thelma Brown b. c1927onwards Lancashire or Suffolk?? had a sister Greta Irene Brown b.1926 Heywood. Lancs and parents Arthur & Emily nee Ince. can find no trace of Birth for Thelma

Hi Folks. Thanks for your replies. I had the info already for Greta Irene Brown and her parents Arthur Brown & Emily INCE (not INN as in some records) I had also already found the record of Birth & Marriage for a Joan T Brown but my wife does not think this is the person---however, I will look into this further. Thelma did exist because my wife had seen a 'photo of the 2 sisters together.

Jeffrey, No one has said that Thelma doesnt exist, The mmn Inn on the index For Greta Irene could be an error?

The Joan T Brown could well be her, "Joan Thelma Brown", people often prefer to be called by their middle name as the entry only gives the middle name as an initial "T" this would need confirmation

The only way to prove/disprove these births and marriages are the people conserned is to buy the certificates
