Find Ancestors

I have requested this search previously but have more info now.
Mary Ann Walters was born 29-01-1889 in Madley Hereford at Showel Farm. Mother Rose Morgan and father Theophilus Walters. Rose and Theo split about 1891 when Rose became an item with Joseph Potter. Mary Ann's name was altered to Potter. The 1911 census shows her as Mary Ann Potter a brassworker/driller.Joseph's death cert in 1918 show her still living but Rose's death cert in 1922 show that she was deceased. Researchers have indicated that they are unable to find any info on Mary Ann what-so-ever after 1918. NO marriage,emigration or death listings.When Rose, Joseph and family migrated to Western Australia Mary Ann was not listed with the family.It is assumed that she remained in the UK.
Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas about this anomoly and can help?

Have you contacted anyone who has her in their tree on here?
Is there more information on your previous thread, so should you add your new details to that, so we do not repeat all the suggestions and searches?

Mary Ann Walters was baptised 29/1/1889 so could this be her

Mary Ann Walters born 1/12/1888 died Gloucestershire age 91 in 1979

Maryb , Mary Ann was born 29/1/1889 I don't know if she was baptised . The Pountney line is not my Mary Ann. This was proved by British Ancesters who did research some time ago for me. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the family.

Are you saying she was born and baptised on the same day, as Maryb has put baptised and you have said born?
Do you have her birth certificate?

Patchem This the same Mary Ann but I had vy little info on her at the time and this is an updated version. Only relatives have Mary on their tree and they know as much as I do. It is somewhat hard to get info and know what to do when one is on the other side of the world and has to rely on the goodwill of others or pay big bucks to get it.

Allotment. Yes Pountney is the wrong family tks. That Mary Ann had different parents.

Patchem, I never said she was born and baptised on the same day. Maryb ask a question in that respect. See above. I have her birth cert. She was registered on March 11 1889 in Madley Hereford county.

If she was registered March 11th then doesn't it give the actual date of birth?

Record deffinately says Christened Madley Herefordshire 29/1/1889 by Theophilus and Rose

Definitely difficult to be christened before you are born....

Actual date of birth was as stated 29th Jan 1889 Madley,The birth was registered on 11th Mar 1889.

So maybe it was an error on the christening record,typical we can't view the actual record for that one.
