My mum, only ever knew him as Sonny, although it could be Kenneth? I believe Betty died of cervical cancer, but had a daughter Karen, but again I am unsure of who she married so do not know surnames. If I could trace Norah Holmes' mother I might have more answers.

Why does it sound familiar?
Barry and Norah married 1948 in Lincoln Norah's father was a an N.F.S fireman named Ernest Holmes the address on their marriage cert states they lived on southpark Lincoln. I am unsure about the walker? I haven't heard that before.
could you have possibly helped my deceased father with this?

Hello, I was wondering if anybody could help me? My grandmother Norah Holmes who was born in 1926 and deceased in 1986. Her father was called Ernest Holmes 1920, but I am unsure what his wife was called. I believe they had 5 chn, Norah, Betty, Derek, Ernest and Sonny. I have come to a dead end!
any help would be greatly recieved.
