Better to get a subscription to sites that are not pay per view

I think the problem Roy is that if people are using pay per view credits to search records then it costs them more to view the original ....

(If that's not the case then there's no excuse!)

Sylvia, I had posted most of the details in my first post,

I think it may just be that i remember searching census and bmd indexes before they where transcribed so you only ever looked at the images

So i always check the actual image,

I do wish others would check images to confirm the transcription is correct

Edit, this is from Ancestry, I have checked the image and it clearly states her name as Emily Elizabeth Ingram

My greatgrandfather Sidney Ingram born 1864 married Emily Elizabeth Purchall in 1887 but in 1911 census she has the surname Roberts and all the children except one are Ingrams but the youngest is Roberts
