I am wanting some help with the parents of an ancestor of mine called Florence Deceima Scott born 1876c in Hull yorkshire, i had thought her parents were called William and Jane Scott but i couldn't find a record of him anywhere and after some digging i found a David Scott born 1838 in the 1891 Census and he had a wife called Jane and a daughter Called Florence D Scott born 1877 in hull and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me if there was a way i could confirm this is who im looking for?

This certainly looks as if it could be her, but , as Penny says, buying a certificate is the only way to be sure.
